Today we will be dealing with 5 ways to find goodness in every situation. The scripture said in the book of Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Sometimes life will throw us a heavy jab that would sway us off our feet. When this happens, it can make us feel nothing good is happening in our lives. It can make us feel our life is filled with evil and no good thing can come out of it.
There are situations we will find ourselves and the only thought that will come to mind is how much God has forsaken us. Let’s take the life of Jesus into account. At the time He made himself a living sacrifice for the restoration and balance of the world, it got to time he asked God why he has been forsaken. Pain and tribulations can make us question the love of God over our lives, failure and poverty can make us question if His promises are still intact or He has gone back on His words.

We need to look beyond our present predicament and give God thanks for the glory that is yet to be unfolded. When life throws a heavy jab at us, we should not let it destroy our spirit. Although this is a very tough act to follow, it is not impossible. Job encountered so many troubles in life. He witnessed the death of his children in one day and all his properties were destroyed in another day. But Job still stood his ground and didn’t forsake God. The scripture says Everything works together for God for those that believe. Even in that hard situation of life, you are going through, there is something good that the Lord wants to bring out of it.
In this blog, we will teach you the five ways you can see goodness in every situation. Even when life gets terrible with you, your response to it will determine if your spirit will be broken or not. Learn how to see goodness in all situations and God will turn your story around.
5 Ways To Find Good In Every Situation
Become a Do or Die Believer
Daniel 3:18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
You may find it amusing to say do or die affair believer, yes it is real. The three Hebrews in the book of Daniel are a perfect example. They trust God to a fault. They believe God would save them and even if he doesn’t they won’t still bow to the golden image.
We must reach this level of faith too. It will help us overcome the fear of our predicament. When we fear our predicament, it can destroy our faith. But when we believe the God we serve is capable of saving us, it gives us the strength to stand firm. And even if God would not save us, this predicament won’t still break our spirit.
Understand That His Plan is Perfect
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The plan of God for your life is good and perfect. Understand this, and you won’t have to worry in any situation. The ability to know that His plans for our life are of good and not evil to give us a fire and hope will help us fight any terrible feeling building in our hearts. He has promised us via His words that even if heaven and earth may pass, his promises and Covenants will not go unfulfilled.
Knowing this will help you look beyond the present situation. Job must have known that God always has better plans regardless of the present situation a man might be facing. And that his plans will always manifest at the right time.
Know That Everything Works For Good
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
The scripture has said everything works together for good. The scripture didn’t say something, or a few things, it said everything. Mark the word everything. The present problem that is giving you headaches is part of everything the scripture talked about. And the scripture also made us understand in the book of Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Your present predicament is nothing compared to the joy and glory that is about to unfold. Keep calm and trust God.
Know That It Is Your Time To Be Tempted
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
What more do we need to know? The scripture already stated that in life we will face tribulations but we should be of good fate because Christ has conquered the world. Jesus encountered tribulations, He suffered pain and temptation but in the end, He overcame. We also are expected to experience pain and suffering at one point in our life, but the scripture has admonished that we should be of good cheer because Christa has overcome the world.
Your present predicament has been conquered by Christ Jesus. Just live and bask in the victory that has been made ready in Christ Jesus.
God Will Make Everything Beautiful In His Time
Isaiah 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.”
Knowing that your present predicament will only last for a while will give you the strength to smile even in trouble. The time of God is different from the time of men. God said he will bring everything to an ending when the time is right.
Know that when the time is right, your trouble will be taken away and joy overflow will come.
Conclusively, regardless of the trouble, you are going through presently, be of good cheer, God will deliver you when the time is right. Hold on for some time and you will smile again.
