Prayer Points For Those Who Mourn

Today we will be dealing with Prayer points for those who mourn. Mourning is a feeling or show of deep sorrow or regret for someone of their death. When we lose a loved one it’s sad and can even make some depressed. Alot of emotions run through the body during the days of mourning, some feel regret for the lost one for what they could have done right for the person, some even beat themselves up for not paying attention to their loved ones while they were still alive.

Griefing for our lost ones can be so hard and might even seem like we can’t overcome the feeling which might get some Into thinking of committing suicide which they think that if they commit suicide it will re unite them to their dead loved ones. No one ever prays to experience this feeling but at one point in our life time we lose people close to us. Some might be natural deaths, some might be sickness, accidents and so on. We pray we all live long in Jesus name.

We might know people around us that are Griefing and we want to do everything in our power to cheer them up and comfort them or if we are the one who is in need of word of comfort to help us we can read some of the following bible verses to them to bring them comfort . Only Jesus can make them happy and heal their sad soul, read the following bible verses to them or can also be read to comfort yourself;

1. Isaiah 61 vs 3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

2. John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

• Lord Jesus we bless you for not leaving us alone in this difficult time of of our lives , glory and adoration belongs to you Lord JesusLord thanks for not leaving us all by ourselves, because it’s by your mercy we are still alive and breathing in the land of the living

  Thank you Lord Jesus for the lost souls because we know they have been called to Glory and you will guide their path to you and shine your light upon their lives in Jesus name.

  Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing our loved ones to us who contributed to our growth and journey with you while they were here on earth be exalted Lord Jesus.

  Oh lord Jesus we pray tgat afflictions will not rise again in Jesus name.

  Lord Jesus we acknowledge our sins and the sins of the dead ones ,please Jesus in your infinite mercy grant everyone of us forgiveness and bless our souls in Jesus name.

  Lord comfort every family members that are still grieving their loved ones in Jesus name
  No body around us will die untimely death in Jesus precious name.

  We shall experience no more loss in Jesus name.

  Lord you said in Matthew 5 vs 4
  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. We pray you comfort us in Jesus name.

  Lord we use this moment to thank you for defeating death on our behalf and we pray that you grant the departed souls family members eternal life with you and free our heart of every iniquities that will hinder us from gaining access to your kingdom.

  In your word again you said ” I will lead him also and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners, Lord as you said we should remind you of your word, people do according to what you have promised so that our sad soul can be comforted and find peace with you so that we can continue with our day to day activities without feeling depressed and hopeless.

  Lord Jesus you’re our Father who neither sleeps nor slumber, we just lost a loved one and we don’t know how we can continue with our lives, because the absence of our lost one has left a great impact in our lives , please help us to fine strength in you and your word, do not leave us alone as we don’t know how to move on with our lives, we want your leading, your help so that we can be comforted and happy again.

  Comfort us oh Lord and have mercy upon us oh Lord according to your loving kindness, according to the multiple of your tender mercies , hide your face from our iniquities and help us find comfort in your word and send your holy spirit to us to help us Walk through the journey of live without denouncing our faith and walking in the counsel of the ungodly.

  Lord Jesus, lead not the family members, friends the lost souls left behind into temptations,order their footsteps, open doors of opportunities for them, do not leave them alone and help them live through their pains and see that you’re with them with every steps they take. Do not lead them astray Lord Jesus.

  Lord thank you for the answered prayers, we bless your name for you are holy and forever you’re God, we acknowledge your ways of bringing peace and joy to the unhappy souls , we are so grateful that you made your name available for us all to call upon.

  Thank Lord most High for all that you are to us You’re the unquestionable God, we can’t question your ways Lord for as far as the earth is ti the sky is how can can’t comprehend the plans and purposes you have set aside for our lives therefore we handle over all our lives affairs to you take control Lord Jesus.
