Prayers For Parents And Children

Today we will be dealing with prayers for parents and children. The journey of every child into this world starts with the parent. It starts with a man and woman coming together as husband and wife. The scripture makes us understand that when God created man, he told them to be fruitful and multiply the earth. Marriage is a step towards fulfilling this mandate of multiplication. Meanwhile, the duty of every parent goes beyond producing offspring. They owe their children a duty of care both physically and spiritually.

The scripture in the book of Psalm 127:4 says Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. The parents must take care of the children. Train your child in the way to go so that when he grows, he will not depart from it. This was the instruction of God to every parent. Parents have no excuse for laxity in bringing up their children. Let’s take into account the life of Eli the Priest.

Eli was perfect as a priest, but he was so perfect as a parent. He was busy with things of the lord that he forgot to bring his children in the right way. The consequence was, however devastating as such, that Eli lost his life. While the parents owe their children a duty of care, the children also owe their parents a duty of care. Children must endeavor to obey their father and mother so their days may belong. It also goes beyond obeying their parents. They must endeavor to take care of their aged parents when they can no longer fend for themselves.

Within this prayer article, we will give several prayers that every parent and child must pray to God. We have only come to this world once. We must live right and fulfill our purposes.

Prayer Points For Parents

• Father Lord, I thank you for the gift of children that you have blessed me with. May your name be highly exalted in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus, I pray that you will give me the wisdom and understanding to raise my children in the right way. I refuse to fail on my children. I pray that you will equip me with the understanding to bring them up in the right way they should be in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I pray that you will provide everything needed to bring up my children in the name of Jesus. The scripture says God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. I ask that you supply them all in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, the scripture says, Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the LORD of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion. I pray that my children will signs and wonders for good in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I pray for protection over my children. For it has been written, the eyes of the Lord are always upon the righteous, and his ears are always attentive to their prayers. Father Lord, I pray that your protection will always be upon my children, everywhere they go on this planet’s surface, your eyes will always be upon them in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I pray that death shall not have power over my children in the name of Jesus. The death that take young people when they are at the corridor of greatness, I come against it over the lives of my children in the name of Jesus. 
• I ask that the angel of the Lord will equip my children with the right power to overcome the devil in the name of Jesus. They shall not be swayed away from the lord in the name of Jesus. I ask for the grace for them to stand with you to the end; lord release it upon them in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I know bad company corrupt sound mind, I ask for divine separation between my children and every evil friend that the enemy has programmed for them in the name of Jesus. Just like you cause a separation between Abraham and Lot, I pray that you shall separate my children from every evil friend in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I come against every destiny hunter over my children. I curse them to death in the name of Jesus. Every arrow that destiny hunter has planned to shoot into my children’s lives to kill their destiny, I pray that such arrow will not hit them in the name of Jesus.

• Father Lord, I thank you for the gift of life, I thank you particularly for the family you made me come through, I thank you for my mother and father, I thank you for how far you have helped them, may your name be highly exalted in the name of Jesus. 
• Father Lord, I pray that you will help me to remain an excellent child to my parent and my community in the name of Jesus. I refuse to become a tool in the hands of the enemy to tarnish the image of my parents in the name of Jesus. I shall not become an object of ridicule to God and my parents in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, I pray that you will continue to bless my parents beyond measures. I ask that every of their heart desires shall be fulfilled in the name of Jesus. The scripture says the expectations of the righteous shall not be caught off, and I pray that their heart desires and every good thing they expect from the Lord shall be fulfilled in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, i Pray that you shall bless my parents will good health and you will preserve their lives to witness my good deeds in the land of the living. I pray that they shall not be found wanting when it’s time for them reap the fruits of their labour. This I pray in the name of Jesus.
