Daily bible reading for today October 16th 2018

Our daily bible reading for today is taking from the book of Psalm 136:1-26. Its a psalm of thanksgiving, we give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and his mercies that endureth forever. The goodness and mercies of our God is priceless, it cannot be bought or merited. The mercies of the Lord is unconditional, God said to moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on, it is not of him the willeth, nor of him that runneth but its of God that showeth mercy.

Knowing all this we must give Him thanks for his unconditional goodness and mercies that we enjoy on a daily basis. The primary purpose of this daily bible reading for today is to remind us of Gods unfailing love and kindness towards us. Not that we deserve it, but He gives it to us any ways. Find time to thank Him today.

Daily Prayers:

Father I thank you for you are a good God, and your mercies endureth forever. Thank you for always showing me kindness even when I don’t deserve it. Lord I am eternally grateful. Father I thank you for the preservation of my household and for there protection, Lord for all this goodness I can never pay you back, all I can say my Lord is Thank You Father. Thank you in Jesus name.
