If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Wisdom is the pricipal thing. Divine Wisdom is the grace of God at work in the life of a believer. Wisdom is the ability to know the right thing to do and to do it. When you operate in divine wisdom, God through the Holy Spirit guides you in what to do per time concerning the issues of life. As a child of God, God expect us to manifest divine wisdom, the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. It takes the wisdom from above for any believer to do exploits in life. Today we shall be looking at 20 powerful prayers for divine wisdom.

TYPES OF WISDOM

There are different types of wisdom. The bible made it clear in the book of James 3:15-17, that there are 4 types of wisdom, namely earthly, sensual, devilish and divine wisdom. We shall be looking at this types of wisdom now.

1). Earthly Wisdom: These is also known as natural wisdom it is a kind of wisdom that manifests itself naturally innus as we grow up. Another name for this kind of wisdom is called common sense. A practical example is : staying away from fire, because it hurts, eating through the mouth etc.

2). Sensual Wisdom: This kind of wisdom is also called intellectual wisdom. It is the wisdom which we get from formal education. Sensual wisdom is a product of intense study and personal development. Example of this type of wisdom is: medical doctor, a scientist etc.

3). Devilish Wisdom: This is satanic wisdom, the wisdom of the dark world. This type of wisdom is roots in wickedness and it is practiced by children of darkness. Devilish wisdom is a diabloic wisdom. It is used to practice black magic, voodoo, soothsaying ,divination etc.

4). Divine Wisdom: This is the wisdom from above and whatsoever is from above is above all. This is the wisdom of God. Divine wisdom is rooted from the word of God and the fear of God. It is knowing what the word of God says and doing it. In Joshua 1:8, the bible made us understand that obeying and doing the word will make our ways prosperous and we are guaranteed good success. Divine wisdom guarantees us good success.

1). Continuous Change of Levels and Honour. Daniel 4:7-8

2). Grace and glory after the order of David. Psalm 89:20-24

3). Riches and Honour after the order of Solomon. Proverbs 3:16

4). Peace and Tranquillity after the order of Solomon. 1 Chronicles 22:9.

5). A fulfilled life after the order of Abraham. Genesis 24:1

6). Creativity after the order of Joseph. Genesis 41:22-29

7). Wisdom brings you into favour with God and man

8). Wisdom preserves and keeps you from evil. Proverbs 2:10-11

HOW TO ACCESS DIVINE WISDOM

God is the source of true Wisdom,and in order to access divine wisdom, we must ask in faith, James 1:5. Matthew 7:8 says ” everyone that asketh receiveth” . God will not from wisdom on you like that, you must place a demand of it on the altar of prayers. This powerful prayers for divine wisdom will empower us as we ask for wisdom in prayers.
