1). To Grow In Grace: Acts 20:32, tells us that the word of God has the capacity to build us up. The more we study the word, the stronger we become spiritually.
2). For Inner Strength: David encouraged himself in the Lord through many psalms in the bible, we see that in Psalm 27, Psalm 103 and a host of other psalms. Encouragement leads to inner strength. The word of God is the only ttrue source of inner strength.
3). To Boost Our Faith: The word of God is a faith booster, when you study this encouraging bible verses, it will build your faith and keep you going as a child of God. The word of God is the fuel that builds up your faith.
4). For Spiritual Growth: 1 Peter 2:2, tells us that we should desire the sincere milk of the word of God in order to grow in there salvation.
