Prayer For Deliverance From Smoking

Today we will be dealing with a prayer for deliverance from smoking. The silver lining is that smoking is predominantly done by men alone, but recent research shows a grossing number of increments in women indulging in the act lately. While this may seem to be bad news, it would interest you to know that a large number of people that are youth. Young men and women who still have a life ahead of them now indulge in this destiny wasting activities. Little wonder, the country is still being ruled by the same set of elites that fought for independence when those who ought to take the mantle for leadership position have smoked away their destiny.

If you happen to be a chain smoker and you have tried different means to free yourself from this demon but you are not getting results, this prayer guide is for you. We don’t just pen down articles except with the leading of the Holy Ghost. If God has promised to deliver people from the habit of smoking, he will surely do that. I decree that your deliverance is made manifest today in the name of Jesus.
Smoking doesn’t only damage the physical health of an individual, it destroys the spiritual stability of a person too. The scripture made us understand that the face of God is too righteous to behold sin. And the spirit of God is what birth spiritual growth, whereas, God can not dwell in a place filled with iniquity. Once a man or woman starts smoking, the spirit of God start departing from such person little by little, it will get to a time that the person’s life will be empty of the spirit of God.

Meanwhile, it is important to note that the life of a man can not be void, if the spirit of God is not there then a spirit from the devil has to be there because the spirit controls the physical. Whatever habit that a man manifest in the physical has been completed in the realms of the spirit. I pray that the spirit of God will not depart from you in the name of Jesus. I pray that God will deliver you from that habit that you are into which is causing the spirit of God to depart from. For as many of you who have been trying to get out of the deep pit of smoking, I decree that help from Jehovah finds you today in the name of Jesus. The power of God Almighty will deliver you totally from smoking in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points:

Lord Jesus, I have come to you today because of my weakness which the enemy has capitalized on. I’m a chain smoker and I have tried multiple times to quit smoking, but the more I try the deeper I get into smoking. Father Lord, I pray for help concerning this issue, I pray that you will help me in the name of Jesus.

Father Lord, I know and understand deeply that smoking is a sin to you and unto myself because I’m damaging my health, and It pains me badly because I know how much you detest immoralities. Lord Jesus, I do not hide this from you because the scripture says he that hides his sin shall not prosper but he that confesses them shall find mercy. Lord Jesus, I pray for your mercy that speaks in place of judgment, has mercy upon my soul in the name of Jesus.

Father Lord, I pray for total deliverance from the spirit of smoking. I know that deliverance comes first from repentance of heart, I do not want to smoke anymore, I want Freedom over it. I pray that you will deliver me in the name of Jesus. I pray for spiritual strength and stability to say NO when the temptation comes again. Lord Jesus, your word says if the spirit that raised Jesus Christ of Nazareth from the dead dwells in you, it will quicken your mortal body, Lord, I pray that the spirit that raised Christ from the dead will begin to dwell in me in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, just like Apostle Paul said that the things which he wants to do, he doesn’t do them, but that which he doesn’t want to do, he finds himself doing them. He went on to say that it is no longer him that does that but the sin inside him. Lord Jesus, I do not want to smoke anymore but the solution to getting out of it seems to be very difficult. Lord, I pray that you will kill the sin in me in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, when I think of the pain that you went through on the cross of Calvary for my redemption, it hurts me badly that I’m still caught in the deep web of sin despite your effort. Lord of mercy, I do not want to be destroyed by smoke, I do not want the death and resurrection of Christ to go in vain over me, Lord, I pray that you will help me out of smoking in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, the scripture says that we have not because we ask not. By your mercy, I ask for freedom over sin in the name of Jesus. The demon that has been tormenting me causing me to become a heavy smoker, I pray that you will destroy that demon over my life in the name of Jesus. Your words declare a thing and it shall be established, Lord, I stand on the promise of this word, I decree that I’m free from smoking in the name of Jesus. I announce my victory over the act of smoking in the name of Jesus, I refused to be destroyed by smoking, I’m free from it in the name of Jesus.

I pray for every man and woman who is been confronted with the same demon as mine, I pray that you will deliver them in the name of Jesus.
