Today we will be dealing with 10 Prayer points for strength and guidance. For smooth and successful journey in life, a man needs strength to keep moving even when odds are against him and guidance to know where to go and where not to go. When a lacks strength, he will amount to nothing in life. And when direction is missing, a man spend all the years of his life trying to find a way. Little wonder the scripture says in the book of proverbs 29:18 Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.

The story of the Isrealites is a perpetual example of strength and guidance. The scripture recorded that they traveled forty years without the sole of their foot getting destroyed. They were led out of Egypt by a prophet named Moses. It would have been very difficult for Moses to lead the children of Isreal out of captivity without the guidance of God. The scripture recorded the pillar of fire led them at night and the spirit of the lord never departed from Moses.

Similarly in our live, we need the strength and guidance of God. There are so many of us who should have accomplished great goals, but because we lack the strength to keep trying we were denied those blessings. Some other persons there problem is the lack of vision. When there is no guidance from God, there is no vision and when vision is missing, sight would not be in place. How then can a man journey without a sight? Samson would not have prayed to die with his enemy if his sight was still intact. For us to excel beyond limit, it is important that we pray for the strength and guidance of God Almighty.

Prayer Points For Strength

• Lord Jesus, I thank you for the grace you have bestowed on me to see a new day, let your name be exalted in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I pray for strength from above. I refuse to rely on my mortal strength to accomplish goals in life. I recognize that you are the giver of life, and the lifter of men. I pray that you will strengthen me in the name of Jesus. I ask for the power of the Most High to rest upon me in every areas of my life that strength is needed, lord let me find strength in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, without your power I’m a weak person. And I understand that a weak person have no place in the this world. I do not want to be toss around by the winds of tribulations. I do not want to tormented by hands of sufferings. I pray for the strength to free myself from every form of tribulations and sufferings, lord grant me such strengths in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner. Lord I pray that you will grant me the strength to resist sin and iniquity in the name of Jesus. I pray for the strength to fight against the antics of the devil, the strength to overcome my weakness, lord, let your strength come upon me in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I pray for the strength to accomplish great goals in life. I decree by the mercy of the Most High, grant me the strength to never stop trying. I understand that life is not built on a bed of roses, but lord I pray that you will grant me the strength to identify bad days, give me the grace to never stop trusting you and grant me the strength to push forward when the right time comes in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I pray for the strength to never be weary in my chase for spiritual things. Lord, I pray for the strength to never get tired in my pursuit to know you more. Apostle Paul said that I may know you and the power of your ressurection. Lord grant me the strength to never stop thirsting, grant me the strength to never stop being curious to know you, grant me the strength for the hunger for you to never quench inside of me, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points For Guidance

• Lord Jesus, I pray for spiritual guidance from you. I pray that you will lead me in the right part to go in the name of Jesus. Lord, if you will not go with me I refuse to move an inch, father, I pray that your spirit and presence will go with me in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, over my marital life, direct me on what to do. Lord, I refuse to leave my life to fate anymore. I pray that your spirit and power will guide me on who to marry in the name of Jesus. Lord Jesus, I have made you the captain of my life, I pray that you will steer the ship of my life from this moment in the name of Jesus.
• Lord God, I need your guidance over my career. I pray that you will guide me on what to do. I understand that when there is a direction, the journey of life becomes less stressful. I want the journey of my life to be less stressful, Lord, please guide on my career in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I pray for your guidance over everything that concerns me. I understand that before you, there is no knowledge and after you, there is no knowledge that is greater than yours. I pray that from now, your spirit will begin to guide me on things to do, when to speak and when to remain silent, and even when I open my mouth to speak, they will be filled with your words in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord , I do not want to journey through this world like a blind man. I want to journey with perfect sight. I pray that you will grant me the grace to see vision. I pray that your Holy Spirit and power will come upon me and you will open all my senses to hear from you. I pray for the grace to be submissive to leading, Lord, grant it unto me in the name of Jesus.
