Today we will be dealing with prayer points Prayer points for the mind of God in the heart of leaders.

Praying for our leaders is so important. Scriptures also instructs that we do this. Let’s see 1 Tim. 2:2 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”.

So to live a peaceful and quiet life, which is everyone’s desire, we need to pray for our leaders, in as much as they are not doing enough for the people, in as much as they prove to be very tough, and the Bible says that He has the heart of kings in his hands.

So the lord will take every stony heart and conform such to the heart of flesh that is full of compassion. The Mind that is sensitive to the will of God, one that is not self-centered, he will bring down every form of strongholds, destroy manipulations in the minds of our leaders. We are also praying that the Lord will take charge of the three folds of the lives of our leaders to yield to His purpose for Nigeria.

We are also praying for the wisdom of God in their lives, we are praying that they begin to exude humility and it reflects in administrative governance.

PRAYER POINTS

• Psalm 7:17 says, “I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High”. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the lives that you have given unto us, for the air we breathe, for the mouth to continually sing your praise, blessed be your name Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

• Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for your love and kindness in our lives, our families, in every state and in Nigeria as a whole, we bless your name, be thou glorified in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Heavenly Father, thank you for the life that we have in you, we glorify your name because you are our God, we are your people, as individuals we thank you, as families, we are grateful for your hand, as a whole, thank you because you have seen us through thus far, blessed be your name Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Lord, we ask for your spirit in the lives of our leaders, to guide their decisions at all times in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Father, we pray against every strongholds in the minds of our leaders, we declare that they are cast down in the mighty name of Jesus.
• We pray the minds, spirit, souls that make up the lives of our leaders; we decree that they are yielded to your Will and Purpose for the nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
• We come against every form of the operation of carnality contrary to your will that is being made manifest in the lives of the leaders in Nigeria, we decree that they begin to conform to your will in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• The power of God will begin to flood the minds of the leaders, to counter every schemes, agenda of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• The desire to know you more, to do your will, to obey your instructions will begin to consume the minds of our leaders daily, in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Eph. 4:23-24 says, “and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which God is created in righteousness and true holiness”.
• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for the renewal of the minds of our leaders, they follow you in righteousness and holiness in Jesus name.
• Heavenly father we pray that you take complete control of the mind of our leaders; you will give them a mind that listens to you, a mind that fears you, not by the doing of the masses but by your mighty power in the name of Jesus Christ.
• We pray for the light of the almighty God for our leaders, father cause your light to shine upon their hearts, cause your light to shine upon their minds to correct faulty thoughts by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Father in the name of Jesus, we raise a standard against every satanic hold in their lives; your word says that we shall decree a thing and it shall be established. We decree and we declare that such holds are broken in the name of Jesus Christ.
• We pray against the manifesting of the flesh and we pray the manifesting of the fruits of the spirit in love and humility for our leaders in the name of Jesus.
• The wisdom of God is increased in their lives to make the right decisions, they will not fail, and they will not falter in their administrative duties henceforth in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Lord, we pray that whatever is not found in you that is being pronounced in the lives of our leaders, they are cancelled, corrected and they conform accordingly to your will and purpose in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Lord we ask that you give our leaders a heart that yearns after you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• Heavenly Father we pray that you will radiate their lives for your will to the glory of your name in the name of Jesus Christ.
• We come against every seed of division, segregation germinating in the minds of our leaders, they are uprooted from the roots in the name of Jesus.
• Heavenly Father, we thank you for the answered prayers, we thank you for the testimonies that we see from our prayers, we trust only you to do these or us, accept our thanks Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we have prayed.
