Every child of God must be battle ready. Spiritual attacks is real, only an ignorant christian will believe that the devil is not after his/her life. The calling of a pastor is a high calling, and it takes the grace of God to fulfill your calling as a pastor. Every pastor has a responsibility from God to care for the sheep ( God’s people) to feed them with the word and to pray for them always. But why we are all familiar with the fact that pastors pray always for the sheep of God under there care, we fail to realize that pastors need prayers also. As a matter of fact, pastors needs prayers more than the members. This is because, when the shepherd is attacked,the sheep flees, Zechariah 13:7. Poverty is not just a mental state of mind, poverty is an affliction of the devil, a lot of Christians work like elephants yet the feed like ants, these is as a result of the spirit of poverty. It is true that the devil can tempt one with wealth,but he can also afflict one with poverty, in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 we see the blessings of serving God, but from the next verses, we see that when we go off course, the devil afflicts us with curses chief amongst them is poverty.
